Our typical lead time is 6-8 weeks on supply only orders. It’s very rare that our lead time exceeds eight weeks and orders are usually fulfilled within six to seven weeks. While we make every effort to ensure that delivery and collection times are met we cannot accept responsibility for any damage or consequential loss arising out of any delay. If you are booking a third party to install your windows or doors, please do not confirm any dates with them until you have taken delivery of all of your windows and doors. There may be occasions where your delivery needs to split over two separate consignments.
New products will be wrapped in protective plastic and cardboard padding. Sliding sash windows with cords & weights are delivered with the weights separately. The weights are easily installed by removing the two external boards on the right and left sides of the window. Larger sliding sash windows may be delivered with the sashes removed, these can easily installed via by removing the staff & parting beads. Bi-folding and patio doors are delivered disassembled. Delivery is to the kerbside. Our logistics partner will only unload your goods when someone is available to accept, check and sign for the goods. They will unload your goods from the lorry to the kerbside, they will not transport your goods on to your premises or into buildings.
On delivery of your windows or doors please ensure packaging is in good condition. On accepting delivery you must sign the Delivery Note and if damage has occurred ensure this is noted on the Delivery Note and email email@example.com photographs of damage within 24 hours. Sashed will not take any responsibility for goods damaged in transportation which have not been signed for as damaged.
Ownership and Insurance
Ownership and title of the goods will pass to you upon delivery or collection and receipt of any outstanding balance. As noted above, delivery is to kerbside, you are responsible for insuring the goods once they are unloaded from the lorry.
