Built to Protect – Fire Ratings from 30 – 120 minutes
Our fire rated windows and doors are engineered to resist the spread of fire for durations ranging from 30 to 120 minutes, utilising advanced high-performance, fire-resistant safety glass. This glass is composed of multiple layers of toughened glass, with a transparent and moisture-resistant gel sealed between them, known as the intumescent interlayer. Essentially, fire-rated glass offers clear and transparent fire protection, enabling natural light to enter while effectively safeguarding lives and property in the event of a fire.
This innovative fire-rated glazing system can be incorporated into thermally insulating (sealed unit) double-glazed configurations, providing effective fire protection while also preserving thermal efficiency.
