Water-based paints and stains for timber windows and doors

All Sashed products undergo a meticulous four-stage treatment process for an immaculate, durable finish. Our water-based microporous paints and stains ensure your timber windows and doors are protected from water while allowing the wood to breathe.

This process includes:

  • 1. Fungal preservation treatment
  • 2. Coloured sealer
  • 3. Coloured paint or stain
  • 4. Top coats of paint or stain.

With a semi-satin topcoat, your windows and doors will look stunning and require no repainting for years – typically 10 years for paint and five years for stain, depending on exposure.

With over 200 standard hues, the RAL colour chart offers an extensive range of options for a truly bespoke finish.

NSC (Natural Colour System):

A standardised colour system, similar to RAL, but based on human perceived colours rather than mixing pigments. It has a vast range of colours.

Highlight the natural beauty of timber with stains

Sashed offers a range of translucent stains from leading paint manufacture Teknos which add colour to the timber and allows the natural character, grain and beauty to show through. Meranti, Larch and Oak each offer unique textures and tones that interact beautifully with stains.
