    What if my planning application is refused?

    We will only submit a planning application if it has a strong chance of success (unless we have pre-agreed with you that it may get refused and you’re prepared for the appeals process). If we have applied for planning permission for you, and if the application is subsequently refused, we will be happy to refund your order deposit in full, less planning fees.

    Indicative timelines for planning applications

    • Document preparation: 3-5 weeks for surveys, drawings, and documentation.
    • Local authority validation: 1-7 weeks, depending on your local council
    • Planning decision: Typically up to 8 weeks after validation.
    • Production and installation: Once approved, your bespoke joinery will be produced in 8-14 weeks, depending on the time of year.

    • For like-for-like replacements in conservation areas, maintaining the same material, design, and appearance.
    • For non-conservation area properties, though local authority discretion may apply.
