Our casement windows are exquisitely finished, robust, secure and thermally efficient. We can replicate existing designs and are experts in the recreation of casement windows for homes in conservation areas and listed buildings.

Can Sashed
match my
existing windows?
Sashed offer a range of timber casement window styles depending on your property’s aesthetics and requirements. Every casement window is bespoke and made to measure. We can recreate your existing designs, angled bays and glazing patterns in modern thermally and acoustically efficient versions; allowing you to retain the period look of your home.
Where required, we can make your casement windows conform to listed building and conservation area requirements – using a combination of our slim heritage profiles and slimline double glazing.
Perfect Finish
All our windows are finished to an immaculate standard, sprayed with four coats of microporous paint or stain in our factory. You can choose from a painted, stained or clear lacquered finish.
You can also choose to have dual colours, for example: white on the outside and a colour sympathetic to your interior inside. Your windows will be fully finished with no need to paint after installation, and providing they are well maintained they will not need re-painting for an average for 10 years.

All our casement windows are manufactured to high standards and come with our comprehensive insurance backed guarantee.
We only use the highest quality certified sustainable – Grade 1 timbers. Our principle timbers are engineered Pine, Meranti, an Indonesian hardwood, European Oak or Accoya™.
For glazing we utilise the latest technology in thermal performance. Our sealed glazing units come with warm edge spacers as standard and are either Argon or Krypton filled. We offer an extensive range of obscured, acoustic and decorative glazing options upon request.
You can also choose from a range of glazing bars and beading, in both contemporary and traditional styles.

Heritage

Our heritage profile casement windows are designed to preserve the period aesthetic of your property, while still benefitting from the latest in thermal technology. Our heritage casements have a slimmer opening sash than our modern casements, they are particularly suited to properties subject to Article 4 Direction conservation area requirements and especially listed buildings. The use of a slimmer sash maintains the aesthetic of a period single glazed casement window, but with all the benefits of a modern double glazed window. Our heritage profile windows can also be made with proud frames (where the frame sits proud of the opening sash), common thought-out homes built in post-war Britain.
Our heritage profile casements come with traditional butt hinges, and a choice of casement fasteners & stays.

The Sashed modern flush wood casement windows are designed with tradition in mind, by using the latest technologies we adhere to the highest thermal and acoustic performance criteria. The flush design is characterised by an opening sash that sits level with the frame. Externally, this gives a completely flush finish to the outer elevation of the window.
Internally glazed with a modern concealed multi-point locking system and friction stay hinges, the design provides high security features compliant with Secured by Design criteria, and is compliant with both part L & part Q of building regulations.

The Sashed storm-proof casement (lipped) windows are manufactured with the opening sash overlapping the frame which offers better performance against adverse weather conditions.
We also offer European style tilt and turn windows, which are available upon request.

To complete your wood casement windows, Sashed offer a choice of period and modern ironmongery options. Our modern casements use friction stay hinges, multi-point locking and shoot bolts as standard. Our heritage profile casements come with traditional butt hinges, and a choice of fasteners & stays. As standard our ironmongery comes in a range of finishes and aesthetics to suit your taste. Our premium architectural ironmongery range is in partnership with Croft, who have an array of striking finishes and designs hand made in Britain.
Installation
&
fitting
Our specialist FENSA registered installation teams offer a premium service for our customers throughout the London and the home counties. They are experts in installing casement windows and angled casement bays (as well as many other types of windows and doors). When required we can also undertake modifications to the size or shape of an existing opening to accommodate a different size or shape window or door. Our installers will take care to protect your property while they are working and will leave everything in a clean and tidy condition. As members of the FENSA scheme, both your deposit and warranty are independently insured with an insurance backed guarantee policy from The Independent Warranty Association (IWA), more details available on the IWA website. In addition to your FENSA certificate your new windows will also be registered with your local authority as legal and compliant with building regulations, this is vital if you ever decide to sell your property.
Sashed makes a Declarations of Performance and CE marks all of our products with a printed CE label. In the UK, a CE marked product shows legal compliance with building regulations (Part L), which apply to all new external windows and doors. We are also certified complaint with Part Q building regulations for new build properties.
Sashed has been vetted and endorsed as a Which? Trusted trader.
Finally Sashed is a member of the UK government TrustMark scheme, we are audited annually by TrustMark, to ensure processes, standards and complaint procedures are being maintained.
