Built to Protect – FR30 Fire Rating
Our fire rated windows and doors are designed to resist the spread of fire for 30 minutes using specialist Contraflam FR30 glass. This advanced fire-rated glazing system can even be specified in double-glazed configurations, offering fire protection on one or both sides (inside and outside) while maintaining thermal efficiency.
Fire Rated Windows – Safety Without Sacrificing Style
Technically classified as fire rated screens, our fire rated windows are non-opening for maximum fire integrity. However, we can make them look indistinguishable from functional modern or period-style windows, manufactured in hardwood timbers to deliver both strength and fire integrity.
We have even developed fire rated sliding sash-style windows that have been approved for planning in conservation areas – a true challenge that required innovative design, careful engineering, and attention to detail to satisfy both safety regulations and heritage aesthetics.
Fire Rated Doors – Security & Style in One
Our fire rated glazed external grade doors feature built-in intumescent seals to ensure a safe, compliant barrier against fire spread. Designed for performance as well as appearance, they can be painted or stained in any colour, making them suitable for a wide range of architectural styles.
