The property is a first-floor flat conversion in a Victorian terrace in Kensal Rise, London NW10. Sashed replaced four windows in the kitchen, bedrooms and a triple sash bay window in the living room new double-glazed sash windows that exactly matched the originals. The client chose meranti, a hardwood, for its longevity as well as the beautiful wood grain. The windows were all spray painted in the factory in cool white (RAL 9016), which gives them a highly durable finish that will not need repainting for at least 10 years.
